Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes, in order to obtain a Service Sidekick, you need to be on the ARS program first. You do not, however, need to have ARS to obtain an Executive Sidekick (Executive Assistant).
-
The Service Sidekick provides the perfect counterpart to your ARS rep and performs the follow-up to BOD. The Service Sidekick follows-up to claims, handles existing client policies and changes, and a long list of other great service tasks. The Executive Sidekick, on the other hand, is an Executive Assistant specifically for you, the Agent. Our Executive Sidekicks are game changers for you and your business providing inbox management, calendar management, running reports, and even helping you with side businesses, personal tasks, etc.
-
Yes! Licensing is a requirement for placement. Every Sidekick (both Service and Executive) must have an agreement with each agent (AAPA Agreement) and be licensed in Property & Casualty in their resident state and in the state(s) their agents service.
-
Every Service Sidekick has recent in-office service experience to ensure they are up-to-date on all agency systems and processes. In addition, each Service Sidekick must attend and successfully complete a live training session prior to being introduced to his or her first agent.
Each of our Executive Sidekicks has prior experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role and is provided all resources and individualized training to suit the needs of the agents they work with.
-
Standard regulations state that anyone having access to your policyholder information must be a W-2 employee of yours. Therefore, you will hire this person, and they will be on your payroll.
-
A Service Sidekick’s hours varies based on book size and service load for each agency. You and your team may communicate and assign tasks to the Service Sidekick throughout workday. Anything you assign your Sidekick before 1:00pm your time will be worked “same day”. Anything assigned after 1:00pm will be handled no later than the following morning.
-
The Service Sidekicks do not take inbound calls, but for good reason! Our system is designed in a way that each Sidekick completes all of his/her tasks each day. Fielding inbound calls for multiple offices would become a barrier to the Sidekick completing the work efficiently, accurately, and on time!
-
The waiting period can vary depending on demand and availability. We are continuously working to improve our waiting times and place clients with the right Sidekick as soon as possible. Our current wait time is approximately 60-90 days.
-
We are working to expand our roster of bilingual Service Sidekicks, especially in Spanish. However, we cannot guarantee immediate availability. We do keep you regularly informed of bilingual availability, so be sure to join our waiting list!
